Ardrishaig

The village stands at the entrance to the Crinan Canal and is mainly residential in nature. There is a small shopping street which includes a café and a convenience store but the main centre for shopping and day to day business is neighbouring Lochgilphead.
Besides the traditional industries Tarbert also has a hairdressing salon offering beauty therapies.
