Dunoon

Dunoon is situated on the southerly tip of the Cowal peninsula and is very much a Clyde coast tourist town. It can be reached either by ferry from Gourock or road via the A83 Rest and Be Thankful. It is situated at the heart of a community of artists and craft related businesses, Cowal celebrates this with the Cowalfest annually. There are tourist attractions, hotels and restaurants. Local businesses, selling organic soap, jewellers, clothes shops and all the associated businesses that you would expect from a tourist centre.
