Inveraray, on the shores of Loch Fyne is the heraldic capital of Argyll.

It is home to Clan Campbell and the Duke of Argyll, with the magnificent setting of Inveraray Castle proving both a popular and internationally famous tourist attraction.

Inveraray lies on the main route to Mid Argyll and Kintyre and enjoys a lot of passing road traffic which fully utilise the many hotels, cafes, specialist shops, garages, filling stations and ancillary services that  Inveraray offers.

Within the immediate area there are large fish farms which employ many local staff, while farming and forestry still play an important role in the local economy.
